@ DROPLET Trailers 7860 Express St, Burnaby, BC V5A 1T4
DROPLET produces modern, lightweight teardrop trailers that are light enough to be towed by even a Mini Cooper or Volkswagen Golf and made possible through a wood shell construction. It features a bright modern insulated shell, a comfortable Queen size bed, a fully equipped sheltered kitchen and a handful of upgrades you can make to tailor the product to your needs.
The company was started by Pascal Pillion to design and build the most reliable, simple, and ergonomic teardrop camper with the weekend warrior in mind. Along with the production of the campers, Pascal has a vision that goes beyond the product to include a sharing and rental model along with a re-investment strategy that goes into buying land and developing campsites across Canada and the US for Droplet Users. Droplet was supported in its startup stage through SFU Venture Labs where they were exposed to other innovative and local businesses, helping them foster a sense of connection to the entrepreneurial community in British Columbia.
The product is manufactured locally in BC at the Burnaby factory with the latest technologies:
• CNC machining – Walls
• Waterjet cutting – Windows
• 3D printing – Windows latches
• Thermoforming – Front window
• Laser – Wheel alignment
• 5-ton press – Wall laminates
Connecting people to inspire innovation in wood since 2012.
TWIG operates on the unceded territories of the Indigenous Peoples who have lived in deep relationship with the lands and forests we now call British Columbia since time immemorial. We recognize and honour the enduring stewardship, knowledge, and cultures of these Nations—whose care over generations shaped the very forests that gave rise to BC’s forestry industry. We also acknowledge the devastating impacts of colonization, including the near-erasure of many old-growth ecosystems and the displacement of Indigenous communities and cultural practices connected to these ancient forests.
As we work to shape the future of BC’s forest products industry, we are committed to pathways that integrate Indigenous perspectives, support cultural resurgence, and foster a renewed relationship to land, materials, and community—one grounded in respect, regeneration, and transformative change.
