Timber Tech Connect offers an up-close look at the latest innovations in timber design and the individuals driving progress in wood-based design, engineering, architecture, and construction. Through these events, our aim is to provide a platform for networking, learning, and exploring the possibilities of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), sustainability and low carbon construction, building systems and the overall methodologies of timber construction.

This event will feature a presentation from UBC's Dr. Haibo Feng - Assistant Professor in the Department of Wood Science, and some research presentations from students under Cristiano Loss. Alongside this we will hear updates from Brandon @ Concept Lab on some ideas for moment connected CLT panels that they have been working on with UNBC.
