An in-person event! Bring a friend, a colleague a neighbour or anyone interested in the creation, design, engineering and craftsmanship of wood products.
Before establishing TWIG in 2020, the group was organized around the name “Outside the Box”, meeting monthly in person since 2012. The format of this was in-person with food and drinks, casual networking and a guest speaker. The pandemic pushed us online and our premier event was the TWIG Monthly. As things started opening back up again, we wanted to bring back the in-person networking component that spawned many new relationships, ideas, products and businesses. Seed Night is our reimagined version of this and was created to bring the TWIG community together in person and on-site at a space, a shop a studio where projects and ideas are being made.
Seed Night is hosted by a member of the TWIG network who wants to open their doors and share with people what they do, and how they do it. It's a means to expose the inner workings of an operation, build community, tell stories and create meaningful connections with others in the value-added sector. With these events, we want to plant a seed and inspire people to create new ideas that grow into products, services, inventions and other creative ideas. At TWIG, we believe in connecting people and sharing ideas to ignite innovation.
